Google Drive is quickly becoming my favorite document creating tool. As a student, Google has continued to make my writing life easier. Today they have done it again by adding their new research bar. Clicking Research in the Tools menu will bring up a new side bar. The Research bar will crawl through Google, Images, and quotes to find snippets to go towards your papers. Right now there isn’t really any great way to sort your results, but it is a huge step forward for word processors.
The single best feature of it is the auto citations. Anything you choose to insert in your paper, Drive will automatically cite the source Google got it from. Writing has never been easier and the new Research bar from Google Drive is a simple reminder of how much farther word processors can come.
